History of Matic

Matic has almost 30 years of history in designing and manufacturing office furniture. It has developed into a company that is committed to deliver good quality office furniture to their clients. We are proud of our past and will continue to give a fresh impetus in cultural and social development.

The development of Matic since 1980

1980	Yim Sam Trading was founded in Gombak, Kuala Lumpur. Then, the company majors in manufacturing office chairs. The company was shared by Mr. Wong Chong Kooi and Madam Choy Yoke Lin. They are the chairpersons operating Yim Sam Trading (pre-existence of Matic) in the early years.

1994	Subsidiary company, Pancon Industries Marketing Sdn. Bhd, was established to manufacture office tables and partitions.

1995	Yim Sam Trading was then changed to Yim Sam Marketing Sdn. Bhd.

1996	The factory was moved to Taman Tai Onn, Jalan Gombak in order to expand the business.

2001	Yim Sam Marketing Sdn. Bhd. changed their company name to Matic Office System Sdn. Bhd

2005	Matic Office System Sdn. Bhd merge with Pancon Industries Marketing Sdn. Bhd.

2008	Matic’s factory was moved to Batang Kali and its showroom & office were located in Setapak.
